Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Eurotrust AG processes personal data when you use this website or the client portal. It is prepared under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR. Directors and shareholders are not named on this page. The German version is published as Datenschutz.

2. Why we process data
- To operate the website and client portal, including sign-in, security and troubleshooting (legitimate interests; contract where a client relationship exists).
- To handle contact enquiries.
- To administer a client relationship: identity and contact details, portfolio reporting, deposit and withdrawal requests, documents and notices (contract and legal obligation).
- To meet record-keeping and evidential duties.
- Optional analytics cookies only with consent. See the Cookie Policy.
3. Data we process
- Details you provide or that are required for an account (name, contact, country).
- Technical logs: IP address, time, browser, sign-in attempts and security events.
- Contents of forms and support messages.
- In the portal: reported holdings, transactions, documents and settings linked to your account.

4. Recipients
Data is shared only with people and providers who need it for hosting, email, security, operations or legal duties. Processors are bound by contract. Authorities receive data only where we are required to disclose it.
5. International transfers
The controller is established in Switzerland. The European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision for Switzerland. If processing occurs in a country without an adequacy decision, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention
We keep data only as long as needed for the purpose, statutory periods or the defence of legal claims. Contact enquiries without a client relationship are normally deleted within 24 months after they are closed, unless a longer period is required. Security logs are kept for a shorter period unless an incident requires otherwise.
7. Your rights
Where the legal conditions are met, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent for the future.
Contact [email protected]. You may also complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Switzerland, or to a supervisory authority in the EEA where you live or work.
8. Necessity
Certain details are required to operate a client account. Without them, portal access cannot be provided. The public website can be used without the contact form. Strictly necessary cookies may be required for secure operation.
9. Automated decisions
We do not use solely automated decision-making, including profiling, that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
10. Changes
We may update this policy when our processing or the law changes. The version published on this page applies.
